Responsibilities:
Genetic
Counselor work in Hospitals, Universities, Laboratories, and private Clinics.
Let’s say that if you have cancer you will be needing a Genetic Counselor. Genetic
Counselors are trained in the following:

patients histories
. Provide
Genetic testing

Perform genetic risk calculations

Educate families about potential health risks

Help patients to cope with a diagnosis

Educational
Requirements:
Students can
prepare for admission with undergraduate courses in chemistry, biology, genetics,
and psychology.
I would not
like to be a genetic counselor because I don’t think that I fit in that part
from the medical field I believe that it’s a great job but I think it’s not
interesting that I would not want to fit in that position being a genetic
counselor takes a lot of effort a lot of responsibility that I think is great
but I would like to be a nurse not just only to be one but to help other people
who need help.
